“The Lace Chronicles #9”

The inspiration for the color palette of “The Lace Chronicles #9, #10 and #11 came from the décor of my bedroom. It is a warm and luxurious combination of neutral colors that I have always felt was very elegant. I started with the smallest canvas first to see if I liked how the colors would combine and then moved on to the larger canvases. With, “The Lace Chronicles #11” a new progression of the work was emerging. Definite shapes defined by the untouched canvas around them.
